How we helped Turas

WordPress and Web improvements for Irish language charity Turas, Belfast

Turas provide Irish language courses in East Belfast, we are helping improve their web presence and expand their use of technology generally.

Website improvements

We've volunteered our time and expertise to help Turas improve their web presence.

Building on previous work we are helping to make their websites more performant, accessible, and fit for their ever-changing purpose.

Work to date;

  • A full website review, highlighting short comings and suggesting improvements
  • Improvements to the main Turas website
  • Re-hosting a website that was left to expire by a former company
  • Helping to purchase new domain names and redirecting old domains to the new domain
  • Introduced bilingual content and markup onto the site
  • Added better analyics and eCommerce tracking
  • Worked with Divi builder to create and edit templates
  • Created some physical materials to support the new work we've done
  • Trained people on the new parts to the website

Client Testimonials

Toby and Elaine have had a massive impact on our website. They have managed to transform the website, giving it a more modern look whilst also greatly increasing speed and performance. Most of all, they have allowed us to fully utilise our e-commerce potential, allowing our learners to register and pay for classes on one website easily. This has substantially improved the learners experience when it comes to registration but has also meant that the administration associated with registration for us has been simplified and automated.

Tech Stack

Some of the technologies we used to help Turas;

  • WordPress
  • DNS
  • Hosting
  • WooCommerce
