MAF approached Tosbourn Ltd. to give assistance with their GoCardless payment system.
Unfortunately API changes happen, and if you don't have a dedicated tech team often you can't proactively protect against these changes.
We were in a fortunate position to have worked with GoCardless heavily on a recent project, so felt well-placed to help quickly get MAF back taking payments.
Updating the Rails codebase to work with the latest GoCardless API required adding some relevant tests and changing out some Gems.
As part of this upgrade we noticed that other Gems are a bit behind where they needed to be. So as part of our service we provided some support with keeping their Ruby on Rails project up-to-date.
